The Role:
We’re looking for an Operations Associate to join our fast growing team to support our Director of Operations in building and running an exceptional back-office. This individual will play an integral role in supporting our day-to-day operational activities, ensuring we can run more effectively and efficiently. Top candidates will have strong organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Worked at an early stage B2B SaaS company creating systems and processes that improved many aspects of the business.
- The ambition to solve problems and connect dots between departments, employees, customers, and vendors alike.
- Understands the big picture, but is not afraid to jump into the details.
- Eager to build a world-class business operation.
You will:
- Be responsible for creating and upholding company policies and procedures.
- Assist in the procurement process by liaising with suppliers and vendors.
- Help create systems and automation that will help us run better.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training for new employees.
- Write detailed, yet digestible internal documentation that improves the overall employee experience.
- Conduct research and analysis as required.
- Help develop company culture through team building activities, programs and events.
- Prepare communication, such as emails, invoices, and reports.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and events.
- Support special projects that don’t neatly fit into a functional bucket.
Your proven superpowers:
- Loves solving problems they don’t immediately know the answer to
- Strong business savviness and a knack for identifying how existing processes could be more efficient.
- Startup or entrepreneurship experience
Nice to have:
- Construction industry experience
- Business degree, MBA or equivalent
- Programming experience that can automate and integrate business workflows
- Familiar with software configurations for any of these platforms: Hubspot, Notion, Metabase, and Ramp.
