The Role:
RIVET is looking for a high energy Sales Development Representative, to help expand a rapidly growing construction software business. This role is key to our growth as we expand our contractor community nationwide. As an early team member and individual contributor, you will develop an understanding of the construction industry and RIVET’s platform to help improve one of the world’s largest industries. This position will report to RIVET’s Sales Director. We’re looking for someone eager to learn and join us immediately.

You will:
- Develop and maintain an expert understanding of the RIVET application
- Relentlessly pursue new business opportunities to fuel Rivet’s growth
- Partner with an Account Executive to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month
- Engage construction professionals through phone, email, events and other channels to understand their challenges and identify opportunities that can solve them
- Work with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to create opportunities for new business
- Conduct daily activities include pre-call research and planning, high volume outreach, follow-ups with previous contacts (nurturing leads), maintain CRM (Hubspot) records
- Attend industry events to network, prospect, build relationships and expand Rivet’s presence in the market
- Warmly transition new customers to RIVET’s incredible Customer Success team for onboarding, training and account management
Nice to have:
- 1+ years in SaaS sales
- Startup or entrepreneurship experience
- Construction industry experience

The Role:
Help us push the boundaries of the React API and server-side Nodejs with clean, intuitive, and highly interactive user experiences that leverage high availability, flexible and secure APIs for scheduling and dispatching skilled workers to job sites. Give superpowers to the businesses and workers using RIVET every day.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Several years of experience shipping commercial applications in our stack:
- React/Redux TypeScript front end client
- Optimize rendering and performance for views with large, complex data sets
- Node/Express TypeScript back end API
- ORM/PostgreSQL Database
Your proven superpowers:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong creative problem solving skills
- Solid product and design instincts
- Experience with Git and Agile software development

The Role:
Be the go-to for customer onboarding and support. You will provide ongoing support to our customers and network with them. The candidate should be able to contribute to building relationships, host customer training, respond to daily customer inquiries and help customers solve their problems while ensuring their satisfaction with RIVET.
- Support customers as they transition from sales prospects to active users
- Map existing customer workflows into RIVET software experiences
- Process milestones for customers to work toward
- Assist customers with setting up and navigating the RIVET platform
- Upsell services and products with the brand image
- Promote value through customer experience
- Guide customers through support queries
- Assist in creating training content
- Conduct trainings for customers in a group setting, over the phone, or on job-sites
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in sales, account management, customer success or a similar role
- Experience with brand image and promoting value through customer experience
- A strong understanding of the entire sales processes
- You’ve trained and onboarded customers on a new product
- You understand the importance of professionalism, relationship building, representing the brand and customer retention that leads to upselling
- Experience in Sales CRMs
- A positive attitude
You will:
- Guide customers through support queries
- Contribute to training content
- Conduct trainings for customers in a group setting, over the phone, or on job-sites
- Consult in top-funnel sales development – identifying prospects, qualifying outreach and campaign automation
