The Role:

Represent RIVET nationally and expand a construction software business with incredible runway and potential. This role is key to our growth as we expand our contractor community nationwide. As an early team member and individual contributor, you will collaborate with Rivet’s commercial team and sales partners while fiercely networking with industry prospects to find and deliver growth.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of the RIVET application
  • Provide thoughtful and calculated resources and tactics for funnel conversion
  • Partner with the RIVET commercial team and channel sales partners to increase top-of-funnel volume and sales cycle velocity
  • Own the entire sales lifecycle for your accounts, from prospecting to close
  • Maintain detailed deal information in CRM (Hubspot) and provide pipeline reporting to leadership
  • Attend industry events to network, prospect, build relationships and expand Rivet’s presence in the market
  • Exceed your individual and team revenue targets
  • Warmly transition new customers to RIVET’s incredible Customer Success team for onboarding, training and account management

  • A strong and vast understanding of driving the entire sales process, including prospecting (warm and cold), presenting, negotiating, and closing
  • Revenue track records with B2B SaaS products

The Role

We are hiring our first product manager to join the Rivet team. This role works directly with the founding team to build on an already commercialized product core. As Product Manager, you will be responsible for product feature planning and execution throughout the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with leadership to build and maintain a product roadmap that supports revenue growth and customer retention. We are looking for someone excited to join an early stage startup in the heart of Detroit, and bring a solution to scale.

You will

  • Define and deliver product features that align with company strategy and meet customer needs
  • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with sales, customer success, engineering, and design
  • Become an expert in our customers workflows, deeply understanding their pain points
  • Recommend feature priorities, and develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap
  • Author user stories and write specifications for product features as part of an Agile team

You may be a good fit for this role if you have

  • Past experience in Product Management, UX, or Customer Success at a SaaS company
  • Ability to process and weigh multiple complex and competing priorities, and make decisions on priority
  • Empathy for customer pains, and driven by a desire to relieve them
  • Obsessive attention to detail when collaborating and documenting work on product features
  • Familiarity and experience with software development practices

Nice to haves

  • Experience with JIRA and FIGMA, and ProductBoard
  • A history of working in or around the skilled trades
  • Experience with project and workforce management solutions, including scheduling, forecasting, time tracking, certifications, and compliance

The Role:

RIVET is looking for a high energy Sales Development Representative, to help expand a construction software business with incredible runway and potential. This role is key to our growth as we expand our contractor community nationwide. As an early team member and individual contributor, you will develop an understanding of the construction industry and RIVET’s platform to help improve one of the world’s largest industries. This position will report to RIVET’s Sales Director. We’re looking for someone ready to learn quickly and join us immediately.

You will:

  • Develop and maintain an expert understanding of the RIVET application
  • Create new business opportunities to fuel Rivet’s growth
  • Partner with an Account Executive to achieve mutually aligned sales quotas each month
  • Engage construction professionals through phone, email, events and other channels to understand their challenges and identify opportunities that can solve them
  • Work with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to create opportunities for new business
  • Conduct daily activities include pre-call research and planning, high volume outreach, follow-ups with previous contacts (nurturing leads), maintain CRM (Hubspot) records
  • Attend industry events to network, prospect, build relationships and expand Rivet’s presence in the market
  • Warmly transition new customers to RIVET’s incredible Customer Success team for onboarding, training and account management

Job Description

Help us push the boundaries of the React API and modern browsers with clean, intuitive, and highly interactive interfaces for scheduling and dispatching skilled workers to job sites. Give superpowers to the unions, trade schools, and contractors who employ them by taking our scheduling gantt chart software to the next level.

Requirements

1) Several years of experience shipping commercial applications in our stack:
  • React/Redux front end client
  • Highly interactive click-and-drag interfaces on an oversized web canvas
  • Optimize rendering and performance for views with large, complex data sets
  • JavaScript (ES6) & TypeScript

2) Willingness and ability to carry weight on a small, swift development team

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Git and Agile software development
  • Solid product and design instincts

3) Bonus qualifications

  • A history of working in or around the skilled trades
