Overview

RIVET's partner-built integration with Plexxis connects through the Plexxis Dataverse API. Plexxis remains your system of record, and RIVET pulls your worker and job data automatically — read-only, so RIVET never writes anything back.

What syncs

RIVET pulls the data it needs to plan labor from Plexxis via the Dataverse API:

  • Workers
  • Jobs & projects

How it connects

RIVET connects through the Plexxis Dataverse API — the current, supported path (the legacy ODBC/PostgREST interface is being deprecated by Plexxis). The connection is read-only and secure:

  • Requests run over HTTPS to your Plexxis instance
  • API credentials are encrypted in Azure Key Vault — never written to RIVET's database
  • Authentication uses short-lived access tokens fetched behind the scenes

Requires an active Plexxis subscription with Dataverse API access, administrator access to create an API service user, and your company subdomain + PDB identifier.
